With a fierce passion for songwriting and soaring harmonies, magnetic sister duo Ella & Sienna are one of the most exciting new artists on the horizon. Unafraid to embrace all genres they bring a modernised sound that emerges as a breath of fresh air in the singer-songwriter realm. Following their feature on The Voice Australia in 2022, Ella & Sienna released their highly anticipated debut EP titled ‘Seven Ways to Say You’re Fine’ and toured nationally in 2023.
Ella & Sienna have had some amazing success in the past few years, playing support spots and sharing stages with some of the biggest names in Australian music, including Jet, Dragon, Kasey Chambers, Baby Animals, John Schumann (Redgum), Russell Morris, Shannon Noll, and Amy Sheppard (Sheppard), among others. They have performed on main stages at numerous festivals around the country, including Tamworth CMF, Groundwater CMF, Gympie Muster, the EKKA, NQ's Rockin Country, Semaphore Music Festival, Country by the River, Fleurieu Folk Festival, Valley Folk Festival and the Royal Adelaide Show.
Ella & Sienna have collaborated with renowned international songwriters, artists and producers in Nashville, Tennessee, such as Jeff Cohen (Jeff Buckley, Spin Doctors, Ben Folds), Phil Barton (Morgan Evans, Lee Brice) and Ken Royster (Luke Combs, Hayley Williams).
For musicians of such a young age, Ella & Sienna’s long list of achievements is astounding; Winners of Most Popular Country Artist in the South Australian Music Awards 2022, Top 24 Finalist in The Voice Australia - Season 11 (2022), Winners of the Groundwater KIX Start and NQ's Rockin Country Reboot competitions 2022, Finalist in the Folk Alliance Australian Youth Folk Artist Of The Year 2022 and 2021 and Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2020.
Following the release of their debut EP 'Seven Ways to Say You're Fine', produced by ARIA award-winning producer Matt Fell (John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers) in Tasmania, Ella & Sienna hit many high notes. 2022 single ‘The City In July’ hit major editorial playlists on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube Music gaining over 15K streams on Spotify alone. A number of singles from the EP, including 'Next to Mine', 'Saved' and 'Don't Call Me' enjoyed major support from National Radio including KIX and ABC Country, success on the CountryTown Hot 50, AMRAP and others, and hit editorial playlists on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube Music. The latest release ‘New Year’s Kiss’ has received over 50k streams on Spotify so far.
Most recently, Ella & Sienna have recorded several new songs with one of Australia’s most decorated and highly sought producers, Rod McCormack (Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, Jimmy Barnes) at The Music Cellar, Central Coast NSW.
