Exciting times are ahead with big changes happening at the Mannum Show next year, which will be held on Saturday 7th March 2020.
We have changed the start time of the show to 12:00pm and we will then go through to approximately 9pm.
We had to say goodbye to our long running President Stephen Vivian who decided it was time to step down and let the young ones take the reigns.
We still have an enthusiastic committee full of new and old faces.
We are very proud that the positions of President,
Senior Vice President and Junior Vice President, are held by Jennipher Vivian, Emmeline Vivian and adi Trainor respectively,
who are all under the age of 30.
We will be changing the entire layout of the show. Our main focus for 2020 is to incorporate local and surrounding community
groups and sporting clubs to revitalize the show. This will ensure that it can be a successful community event for future generations.
The new sections Miniature Goats and the Young Farmers Challenge will be introduced, and the indoor pavilions will be running as usual. However, there will be different pickup and drop
off times and Sunday pickup options will be available. Please refer to the 2020 Mannum Show Book for further details.
In keeping with our “back to local” theme, we have already booked
fantastic local bands to keep you entertained throughout the day and into the evening. Other fantastic entertainment is being booked for your enjoyment throughout the whole day, with some surprises up our sleeves to be revealed closer to the day. If you want a sneak
peek … head to our facebook page and follow to keep up to date with all our exciting news.
We are also encouraging people to give us their ideas on what they would like to see happening.
There are still positions to be filled so please feel free to message us via facebook or contact our Secretary Sharon Stewart,
0417 354 732, or Jennipher Vivian, 0400 491 276.
